Small brushes result to fine strokes while big brushes are used for broad strokes. Thus, having a collection of brushes with varying sizes is necessary.

For paints, you can choose from watercolor, acrylic and oil. Oil paint is very versatile but if you are just starting out, you can opt for watercolor and acrylic instead. They are easier to use and manipulate, and they come in affordable prices as well.

This if truth be told is not an expensive leisure pursuit, although you do need a degree of persistence for this! As soon as you have grasped the concept there are unlimited objects that you could without a doubt cover. Therefore, with the various delightful papers that you can draw on for this, it is possible to use up pictures like you notice on art posters, representing times from another era.

Currently there are so many crafts to select from, we have a thing about canvas art, or you only have to to glimpse at a a small number of abstract paintings to realise this. Nevertheless, herbs also, are ever increasingly sold inside our supermarkets, garden centres etc.

I for my part love the unique aromas that newly picked, scented flowers and herbs give out. It is also quite possible that if you have a garden, you may already have some of the items that I am going to be writing about.

Most of us have tried canvas art at one moment in time or another, to form abstract paintings. Generally people like to experiment once in a while, so why not branch out into some other type of craft?

In my prior articles, we established that we can make use of herbs for a mixture of effects, including to benefit your health. One capital idea which I can recommend, is using herbs to put together wheat bags.

As an illustration, these bags,in effect, are used here the same way as you would use a hot water bottle. Therefore, they are very good for using to soothe sore or painful joints, or muscles. To make this you will need a quantity of dried herbs with rosemary, the bag itself, which you will have to make according to the size required, and, naturally, a quantity of wheat grains.

To be successful it is better to avail yourself of a very fine cotton, cambric, otherwise calico to make up the bag, being this has to withstand the heat of the oven or microwave. Initially you will need to stitch up three sides of the bag. Next take your various herbs along with wheat grains and stow them into the bag, leaving about an inch at the top.

So how about using a glass gel? Glass gel you can buy in your local art suppliers. This gel is currently available in tubes. How do you apply this? The best method is by means of a spatula! If you do this you will realize that it gives you a textured surface, but will as well provide relief effects.

All in all there are three types of gel colours, you have semi opaque, which are opaline, glittery are iridescent, and transparent which are crystalline. The fine thing on the subject of these is that you can mingle all the colours and ranges together, plus the outliners, copying the Tiffany kind of glass actually.
